Half of the battle against unsustainability is to sustain survival on earth by improving efficiencies of food, water, livestock and essential supply chains, the other half is by searching for alternatives to the extraction of non-renewable resources like minerals, metals, energy etc. which fuel the ever-burgeoning industries. The project proposes an automated resource extraction tower on the moon that dedicates itself to this later battle of searching for non-renewable resources in the extraterrestrial, in-turn leaving earth and its resources as a sacred precinct which must not be exhausted.
