DANDELION is a project based on the observation of the adaptive capacities of the dandelion, an undemanding plant capable of growing on poor soil. The plant's visual appearance, shape and functional organization are mimicked to create habitats on Martian soil. Each unit (or dandelion) is thought of as an autonomous system capable of drawing resources from the soil and the atmosphere of Mars. Advanced technology is able to overcome the hostile conditions of life on Mars: graphene or the electrokinetic generator of electricity driven by perspiration.
