lt' s difficult for fisherman to stay active with the chaotic urban growth & privatization of the coast. Reviving their community is a need. During my travels to Sri Lanka I was inspired by the Stick Fishermen, and their tools. 1 created the main system merging these elements together and developed typologies based on the functions (housing,aquaponics, desalination,market).They are clustered & connected by ramps to form the floating village. lt is suspended above water for security reasons and it is covered by a structural tensile net. The village is based on a pattern that can grow & multiply.
